I just got these to use when playing Hero Kids with my son. Do the map tiles correspond with PDF product? I'd love a full-scale (well, 1" to 5' grid) set of tiles to use with these cards.
They sure look nice, and I think we'll have lots of fun with these! Nice work!

Thanks for buying the playing cards. The original geomorph maps were intended as small tiles which became the Hand Drawn Geomorph Tiles (which print to about 3.5 in across for 10 sqrs ) but customers asked for them to all enlarged into 10 inch square tiles for use with minis -that PDF is called Large Handdrawn Geomorph Tiles. The PDF prints one half of a tile to a page and you have to assemble the 10x10 tiles with a simple glue tab. The designs are pretty much the same as those in the playing cards. The Large Geomorph Tiles is one of our more popular products. Both products and free samples are in our full list on the DriveThru and RPGNow site (in case you're looking at this on the DTCards site) Short link: http://bit.ly/IAstore (DTRPG) Thanks for your question -Billiam Babble, Inked Adventures.

What's the possibility of a deck of "particular" locations? I'm thinking a deck of Taverns or Castles or Village Shops, Village Houses, Lairs or things like that? Just asking! Thanks!

As with some, but not all, of the products on DTCards etc. This is POD only. There's no PDF included as part of the purchase. There is the microset sample PDF on the homesite (see discussion below for links). Since you have already purchased, email me inkedadventures@gmail.com maybe I can send you something- but I can't guarrentee a file in a format which matches normal printer paper dimensions. It's partly to combat file-sharing as well. Thanks for asking.

The 4 cards they show, the d100 (aka d%) results all show in multiples of 10. (70, 80, 100, 10)
Does it have the full range of all 100 possible results? (01, 32, 66, 89, etc)
If it doesn't, then it's a d10 multiplied by 10, which is something completely different.
Thanks for any clarification on this.

The distribution of results is imperfect. Only an insane games designer would claim to have evenly spread one hundred values across 52 cards. ;) I've attempted to summarise the dice results on a guide card in the pack:

The deck errs towards criticals, so there's a few extra 01s and 100s. There is a sequence for the units: 0, 2, 5, 8 (click on the photo above to see this). Incidentally if a player requires a d10 result, it's recommend to read from the 10s (first digit, and "0" ="10"), but a d10 result can also be acquired from the second digit of the d20 value. Buried deep in the Inked Adventures home site there is a printable play testing micro deck.

Although the pre-printed, pre-cut cards are much nicer to use than the ones from my own printer, the micro deck partially answers...See more

Yikes! What's up with the shipping costs to Canada. The cards are $14.95 and the shipping is $11.90! I was going to order these . . .

Hi Jason. Thanks for commenting, because otherwise I wouldn't know if this would be putting customers off. The postage and shipping costs are standardised by the DriveThru/OBS sites (based in the U.S. where the cards are printed). Inked Adventures itself is in the UK, and we are looking into ways of reducing costs to post locally (i.e. within Europe), but I was hoping that shipping within North America was within an acceptable price range (again, I must state that we don't set this rate). Once the cards are printed the shipping is fairly rapid. Unfortunately within a single copy print-on-demand context our options are limited and DTCards/DTRPG is a reliable choice of games provider. DTRPG provide a guide to their shipping costs to reassure you that we are not making extra profit. We will pass on your reservations. Thanks again for commenting.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
