The MORE FUN! CONFERENCE EAST card pack contains player and scouting report cards for all 4 teams in the division for a total of 72 cards. Teams include the REGALS, BULLS, ENGINES, and GORILLAS. You can add a custom tuck box to your order at checkout. There's a unique one for each division! Superstars Larry Trailer and Quentin Bartholomew Eagles included in this pack!

ENGINES

The rubber definitely meets the road in the ‘Red Line’ rushing attack of the ENGINES. Featuring star power runner John Biggins and impact runner Clint Portly, the offense is very difficult to contain on the ground as the duo ‘trucks’ would-be defenders and tacklers out of the way.

Danforth was drafted from one of the European football leagues by a new scout. The team had very high expectations for him, but it turns out that football means something very different across the pond. That explains his less than stellar performance and makes his initials both appropriate and unfortunate. The scout is no longer employed by the team.

  • #33 JOHN BIGGINS: shove, block +1
  • #55 CLINT PORTLY: run block
  • #6 BRADLEY FAIRBANKS DANFORTH III: route passer

Controversy! French activist group Sacre Bleu! has been very vocal about asking the team to change its name. The group states that since the word engine is derived from the Old French engin and Latin root ingenium [the root of ingenious], it’s insulting and culturally insensitive to have it be used to describe a team in a game that is as ‘simple and base’ as American football.

When asked if he would ever consider changing the team name, the owner was quoted as saying ‘JAMAIS- you can use caps. It’s that simple.’

BULLS

The BULLS come at you horns first with the hard-nosed running attack of superstar Sam Emmit. The constant threat of the power rushing game makes the passing skills of Roy Cakeman that much sweeter as he has plenty of time in the pocket. And then there’s the lockdown defense [and offense!] of the Sandman...

  • #55 SAM EMMIT: stiff arm, run block
  • #6 ROY CAKEMAN: pocket passer
  • #77 DEE SANDMAN: lockdown

GORILLAS

This team boasts what is easily one of the scariest defenders in the league. Seriously. Superstar Larry Trailer shoves offenses around with ease and is one of the top three blitzers in league history. Elliot is a good passer, but he is overshadowed by Trailer’s spectacular play and by his ‘manlier’ brother Phil of the BIGHORNS.

  • #55 LARRY TRAILER: shove, blitz, block +1
  • #6 ELLIOT MANLY: screen passer

REGALS

The REGALS superstar passer is a highlight reel waiting to happen. The QB read skill was actually named after him due to his almost supernatural ability to sense danger and read changes in the defense.

  • #6 MACK KOI: spin
  • #77 QUENTIN BARTHOLOMEW EAGLES: juke, route passer, QB read

The official team name is actually the REGAL LIONS, but the fans and media simply refer to them as the REGALS after the recent logo update. And much like the lion is the ‘King of Beasts’, the REGALS are certainly MFL royalty.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
