Mike & Joe's Card Game

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Most card games give you only one game to play. Some even brag about it in their title (cough-Uno-cough). Mike & Joe's Card Game gives you THREE games to play at one time! Play Patter, the word-construction game; Peril, the card-challenge game; or Pointz, the board game (the board is on the cards!). It's a wild-and-wacky, fast-paced game of suit-building for the whole family. 2-6 players. Remember to download the rule sheet! (Link above.) For more info on the game and to see it in action, check out the Ghoulash Games site.

As with the other review, I am not allowed to post a review because I bought this game prior to it appearing on Drive Thru Cards. Mike & Joe's Card Game is a lot of fun in a little box. When I brought it to the table at game night, I can honestly say that my friends and I laughed more while playing this than we have at almost any other game. It's a lot of fun, easy to learn, and extremely easy to take with you wherever you go. And because of some of the challenges in the game, playing it in different locations can result in much different answers. BUY THIS GAME.

I purchased this game directly from the developer and must therefore post my review in "Discussions" rather than the proper "Reviews" section. Mike and Joe's Card Game is a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family. It's family friendly, fast-moving, and includes three games in one, all played simultaneously with hilarious results. In short, it's a hoot to play, engages players in true social interaction and fun, and is one of my family's favorites to play. Folks on our holiday gift list will discover exactly how fun this game is. You should, too.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
