Completely worth your money and time!

In this set collection game, you are trying to adopt really cute puppies. I am fairly certain the artwork alone delayed my gaming friend's daughter's bedtime by 5 minutes. Each card is dual purpose: It I either a dog with requirements (food, love, or shelter) or a card with a rank and suit to fill those requirements. The first few rounds can be confusing until the iconography is down, but there is a surprising amount of depth. Is that 1 of Food the only one left, so my 3 of Food offer is safe? Is it worth laying 4 cards to adopt that puppy, knowing I'll have to spen a turn drawing cards? There is a lot going on for 45 cards with cute dog pictures on them!

A lot of fun. The symbols for the needs are a bit confusing on a first playthrough but you'll pick them up quickly enough. A few helper cards with the symbols and a description line would make that easier but it'd also increase the cost a bit. I'll probably print up a few helper cards myself for first timers.

The 5-player games I tried were pretty evenly scored, 2 or 3-way ties for most of a rank/suit were pretty common. That wasn't at all a problem with 3.

All-in-all a keeper and very much worth the cost.
