Perspective - "It's not what you see, it's what you know."

Perspective is a competitive game of memory, deduction, and limited knowledge.. There are unique sets of rules for two, three, and four players. The winner is the player who manages to match the colors on the back of their double sided cards with their goal pattern. You must maintain the perspective of the cards so that you never see the back side of your own cards.

Perspective can be played with 2 to 4 players or as a solitaire game. 2-4 player games are played with a hand of 3 cards. Each card is double-sided, so when held one side is facing toward the player and the other is facing their opponents. The front side of the cards will determine what actions a player may take. When a card is played, it is placed into the Used Pile with the front side of the card face up.

Each player has a goal card placed in front of them on the table, their objective is to get the Back Side of their hand to match the colors and order of their goal hand. At any point during a player’s turn, they may lay down their 3 cards without tampering to see if their goal is met. If the player’s cards do not match the goal card, they are eliminated from the game.

A game for 2-4 players ages 9 and up that plays in less than 15 minutes.

Geek Dad - "I've enjoyed Perspective. It's different enough from FlipOut, particularly in that it's a pocket-sized game with only 27 cards. I like the idea of information about your own cards that's obvious to everyone but you, and it's a nice, small set of actions to learn. If you're in the market for a clever deduction game, Perspective is a great fit."

Andrew Hanson - "The mixture of strategy and memorization is what gives Perspective an exorbitant amount of fun in a tiny package."

Jesse Zellar "If you are looking for a fast learning and always changing card game, than Perspective is for you. The game balances strategy, memory, and luck. You are pitted against other players to match your personal goal cards. Whomever completes theirs first wins. Thursday night I was introduced to Andrew. He told me about his game and we sat down to play. It took him about 2 minutes to explain the game, and we started our first game. I couldn’t believe how easy yet fun it was. Perspective is beautifully done. Even the artwork is beautiful. Where a card with just a plain color would suffice, this developer took it the extra mile to make the card very visually appealing. Over Gen Con weekend, I played this game with many people. Some friends who are long-time gamers, some who are new, and even friends who work for other game companies who evaluate and play games for a living. Everyone loved it. I lost count as to how many times I played it over the weekend. I never once grew tired of it. Each hand was a fresh set of challenges. All in all the game is a lot of fun to play, quick to learn, and quick to play. Of the games I played over the Gen Con weekend, Perspective was the clear winner for me."
