You are an admiral aboard a flagship cruiser.  Your objective is to build and deploy ships, weapons, aircraft and defense systems while protecting your resources from hostile forces.  Players build decks and face off 1 on 1 or in multiplayer to see who can build the most powerful fleet and sink their opponents' flagships.  Resource cards give you requisition, which you use to build your units.  The faster your build up, the more likely you are to win the game.

This pack contains 600 printed cards from the Core set of the game.  The Core set consists of 237 different cards in 6 main card types; ships, weapons, aircraft, defense, instants and resources.  Using the official Cube game rules, 6 players can build decks with 90 randomly selected cards and play a multiplayer free-for-all.  Other formats include Standard constructed format where players build decks containing no more than 3 copies of cards from the game.

The Core set consists of 36 rares, 54 uncommons, 132 commons, and 15 basic resource cards; and the Cube box contains 1 of each rare, 2 of each uncommon, and 3 of each common, plus 60 basic resources.  These cards have been updated with current errata version 1.1.

Hi I am the developer of the Naval Battles: Customizable Card Game. I developed this game to be more than what all the other modern naval combat based games are. I've always wanted a game where you could build and deploy ships, install different weapons systems or deploy aircraft to them. I also wanted this game to be more than just naval battles, by incorporating the Instant card type in to this game I've added a dynamic that is mainly just seen in fantasy card games. This game allows players to build up their battlefield and attack the player directly instead of just sinking their fleet. Guided missiles can be fired each turn after they're deployed to your fleet ships or your flagship, until your opponent manages to destroy them. Game play is made fast paced by the use of a separate resource deck, and the construction zone for building ships, aircraft and weapons. Players will have the chance to draw from their resource deck every turn for as many turns as desired to have the resources to build your fleet....See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
