PDF + Card(s)

Dicecards are a new geektastic take on generating random stuff for games. The cards feature more than thirty random elements that can be used in any game you can think of: from poker to D&D; traditional games; new games (one is included) and even a full set of Werewolf roles! And, let's face it, they're pretty awesome looking too. A deck instantly starts conversations.

If you're anything like me, you love peculiar dice, weird widgets and cool little thingumies. These cards have those in spades (and the other suits). Every element is explained in detail on the webpage at and in the free Rulebook. The cards are designed so drawing a card from the pack has exactly the same probability distribution as rolling the dice, so the results are always fair.

The print-and-play edition of Dicecards includes printable cards for US Letter or International A4 paper or cardstock: both formats are included in the download. Also included is a guidebook explaining all the elements on the cards, with rules to several games you can play. Customers buying printed cards can download this rulebook free using the link above.

In the PDF you have 3 different color card backs I ordered 2 Decks. Is there chance you could add a select a card back option so that I can get my decks in two different Color backs I could then use them in double deck card games and sort them back out more easily

Nice idea. I may had one in the next version.

In the short term though, the green back will probably look pretty good if printed as grey. It's a checkbox option for most printers to print in black-and-white.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
