Oops, the heroes have ruined the story, again. They managed to get Camelot invaded by the peaceful Seelie while King Arthur was at war, to kill teenage Karl Marx while vacationing in Space·Time or to blow up the Magical University where the entire campaign was meant to take place. Also, they have just entered the Unknowable Dungeon of Unspeakable Death, for which you have no maps, or they are due to meet the Ambassador of the Qfew'dhi Confederation, the one you just invented by pushing random keys on your keyboard.

But you're not ready to give up on that story, are you?

What is the Plotonomicon?

The Plotonomicon is a very simple story improvisation technique that you may use for role-playing games, storytelling or even writing novels. You'll need the Plotonomicon itself (it fits on one sheet), a deck of cards (there's one included, but if you can use a Tarot deck, if you prefer) and... that's it!

• The Plotonomicon, a simple rule to use the Space·Time Deck in your regular role-playing or storytelling sessions, presented as a short PDF comic;
  
• The Space·Time Deck, a deck of 67 illustrated and interpreted cards, loosely inspired from Tarot, and designed to help GMs, Players and Storytellers answer any question that may show up during play, as well as improvising plots, settings, twists, characters, places, lore, ...
