Scroll of Flitter - Is this only used once? It doesn't specify.

Think I found the answer in rulebook, do a WIT check to see if it's kept, or it fizzles away.

Could not read the cards without a microscope. According to pdf reader, the text was 6.6 point Shyster font.
I redid them cards using PowerPoint. In color.
OCRed the PDF. Not perfect but good enough to correct.
Dumped the lame notebook lined background, lost the white space
Used color clip art from SJG's Cardboard Heroes (from 30 frickking years ago) and Dario Corallo's artwork available here.
Fonts were enlarged (really enlarged) for readability and then changed frequently to match the card subject (creepy for slimy things, ornate for the ladies. Added color text for things like "GOLD").
Stats blocks were enlarged and color-coded while retaining the shape coding.
It turned out great. Took a few hours, but I'll be faster next time. I did the KS and got all the extant sets.
LASTLY, I DO NOT have the "Artist gene", so I'm pretty proud of myself. And it was fun.

Really wanted to like this game. Bought the pdf. But the sheer lack of any sort of card layout for printing is not good at all . Why not set up card sheets for easy printing? 9 per page with cut lines. I bet you’d sell way more copies if it was for
Syed correctly. Game looks great but don’t want to put that much work into printing 22 decks. Guess I won’t buy more than the 2 decks I did buy

You can use Acrobat Reader to automatically put them into a 3x3 cards per page. This is what I did.

Andy is exactly right. Go to "multiple" on the print screen and choose "9". That should do the trick!

Pity. The products don't seem like they have evolved in a better direction.
A lot of promise, but the ball has been dropped.

The price for essentially lame art and micro text is asking way too much.
There are a LOT of truly great role gaming card based products on Drivthru
This is not one of them

Lose the white dead space, the lined paper look is not really that clever.
Greatly increase the text font size

These cards are unreadable
Can't do the current Kickstarter if I need a magnifying glass to read these.

I agree, just purchased a couple of pdf decks and thinking of redoing the cards with larger text. I'd back them on Kickstarter if the text is made bigger.

Jim, for Godsake, These cards are unreadable on a 3x3 letter sized page. (That's 9 playing cards to a sheet of paper.)
Sorry, bud, but the text needs to be bigger and heavier, the white space is just wasted and needs to be used for bigger text and readability.
I have a much easier time reading a 1970s 1/2" SPI counter than these 2.5x3.5 playing cards.
You keep this up and you're going to be sued for violating ADA compliance.
Maybe I'm not being forceful enough....

The PDF is very disappointing, 1 card per page is unusable. I was thinking of buying this on the current Kickstarter but, unless the PDF is updated its a nonstarter.

This file works with setting your printer to multiple pages per printed page. Setting it to 9 put 9 poker size cards per printed page.

Ok going to be frank here.

The cards are probably ok, but consider the graphics. They really are like they seem, as if written on lined paper :)
If you buy the actual cards, it's different than if you get the pdf in one key way.
The pdf is almost unusable. 108 pages, with half those being the reverse side. So it is in truth, 54 cards.
And it is 1 card per page. Which is about as useless as it gets. Not like most card based products that come as 9 per page with reverse side on the next page so you can reasonably print them out.

Not sure why this was done, but it is massively off putting.
I guess it is a shameless way to make it so you MUST buy the physical cards.
At 10 dollars a deck, well, it is NOT something I consider worth THAT much.
And the effort needed to create a better pdf is simply more time than I'm likely to feel like investing.
Unless I want to create a page sized card came.

I have another question when a card says, "Raise the Alarm," what does that do? Are we supposed to take guards from the bottom deck and have them come running?
The card in question is the Throne of Emperor Zinn:

Once the alarm is raised, no guards may be bribed, no false papers may be used, and all monsters gain initiative for the rest of the adventure. Sorry for the late reply.

I have a few questions: Does the bag of gold or loot chest count as an item in the backpack?
Also, the Court Jester card says to Restock d10 cards. Where does this restock come from? Limbo?
Then you have a top deck and a bottom deck. When do you use the bottom deck? Once you've run through the Top Deck?
I like the game, but I'm running into these slight problems, and I didn't notice any instructions covering these things.

There needs to be a PDF version of this game. I'm from the UK so will never buy it in physical form.
Also why are they so expensive?
That's a lot of money for a few packs when spending the equivalent money could buy me a good or great board game.

hello, is there any possibility to buy the pdf print & play of the game? Living in Brazil makes the purchase impossible due to the cost of shipping and I really wanted to buy your game even if it's the pdf only.

Bought a deck, but where are the instructions on how to play? Also, Hero Card needs to be better ID'ed so it can be easily located in the deck. Thanks!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
