VTT Playing Card Deck – Warlord Deck

These image assets are intended for use on virtual tabletops (VTT) like Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds, and are supplied at 70 DPI in both .PNG and .JPG format, with a pixel size of 375 by 515.

The deck comprises of 52 cards plus 2 jokers, with each card having a vellum/leathery background, with blood-coloured design elements and symbology. The Warlord deck uses swords, axes, hammers and spears as the 4 card suits. The deck is provided as the following variants:

• PNG file format with rounded corners
• PNG file format with rounded corners (no text)
• JPG file format with square corners
• JPG file format with square corners (no text)

The PNGs have a larger file size, but look best in a VTT environment where the rounded corners make them look most like playing cards.

If file space is limited, the JPGs can be used, but as there is no transparency with this file type, the corners are squared off to prevent white triangles in those areas when loading to a VTT.

To give a more barbaric feel, the ‘no text’ variants do not include the number or letter in the top left corner of the card.

In total, this product is four separate sets of 54 cards (one for each variant above), plus card backs in both PNG/round corner and JPG/square corner styles.

Use of a custom deck like this one will make for a more thematic experience in your game. These assets are perfect for any fantasy themed RPG, where they can be used as custom decks in the VTT (replacing standard playing card decks). They could be used for initiative/round order as well as a fate deck or any mechanism requiring a random draw or roll, using the full deck, a smaller number of the cards, or just a single suit, as required.
