Everything you need to solo your favorite TTRPGs!

Traveling outside the starter area of any tabletop game can be daunting, especially if you're a new player.

When I started playing solo, I wanted so badly to explore and unlock more of the world, but I didn’t know what I would see or encounter.

I felt stuck and even abandoned the game because I couldn’t flesh it out and move forward without second-guessing everything. I needed these things planned out earlier, so I could just enjoy the game.

That’s why I created these adventure oracles.

Now I’m confident in traveling not only outside the starter area but across new realms, bringing settlements to life, and making every moment feel like a movie in my head.

But it wasn’t enough to just create places. To make my solo games come alive, I needed people with realistic traits, jobs, and goals, events to enjoy or disrupt my plans, and treasures to fill my pockets.

Now I have everything I need to make my solo worlds come to life without slowing down gameplay.

I can flesh out entire cities, from their famous features and key figures to problems they're dealing with,  and buildings and architecture, with just a few cards. I can even explore beyond cities, encountering all sorts of people, creatures, dangers, and wonders.

Looking back at my first few games, I see how much I struggled and how badly I wanted to explore these unknown worlds. Now I feel limitless. I hope you will too.

  • 50 cards: Printed front & back or 100 cards with no backs. This is a print-and-cut PDF so you will need to cut out each card, but you can stack them to make cutting faster.
  • Character information: Names, traits, races, alignment, and items.
  • Yes/No oracle: Any time you need a yes or no (and or but) answer, draw a card.
  • Verb/Noun event generator: Use the words at the top of the card to create a random event. Ex: Draw two cards and use the Verb on the left of one card, and the Noun on the right of the other card and you get "Explore Object." Interpret that as something you're doing, or someone else, and draw more cards to generate answers such as who is doing the event and what "Thing" they're looking for.
  • A GM Move: These are moves from Dungeon World that can help you get unstuck if you don't know what to do next. You don't have to know anything about Dungeon World to use them, just interpret what they say, such as, "Separate them from each other." This could be something you want to do as a player, or you want to have happen as a consequence.
  • Places: Places you may come across within or outside of a settlement. This could be a place you're already in or a place you need to go.
  • Encounters: Events happening within or outside of a settlement that you can choose to engage in.
  • Settlement names and traits: This is the name and overall feel of the settlement you find yourself in or need to travel to.
  • Settlement Calamity: This is the settlement's current main issue that you may want to deal with or help solve for them.
  • All the polyhedrons: This has random rolls for all the polyhedrons. Rolling dice is fun, but maybe you don't want to pull them out, or maybe you're on the go and want to keep it minimal. All the dice are here for you!
  • Print-Friendly version: Less ink to print!
  • Adventure Mat: To help you get started with a game, I've created an adventure mat that will allow you to gather some information on the setting and your character and other characters involved that will take out a lot of headache from trying to create a story from scratch.
  • Tabletop Simulator Files: I've added files so you can put the Adventure Deck on Tabletop Simulator (TTS) if you like to play digitally. Two files are the sheets required to upload the deck. The settings in TTS to make them load right are, width 100, height 7, number of cards 50.
  • Mix & Match: There's a symbol marking each card to its deck. This is so you can easily mix cards if you like.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
