I've had these cards for about an hour now and I can't believe how powerful and useful they are. Need a planet? Draw two cards. Hmm, the gatherers and the lovers. How about "Gathering of Lovers?" Translate that into Latin and I have a planet name: Congregatio Amantium, most likely shortened to "'Mantium" in crew slang, especially since all the planets in the system are gatherings of one sort or another. Or maybe it's تجمع العشاق, just to keep my crew on their toes.

Need an opponent? Draw two cards. Nine of Crowns, Three of Roses. MONSTROUS VEGETABLES??!!! Hell yeah, nerds!!

What are they going to do? Nine of Crowns - attack! How they gonna do it? Four of Swords - by OOZING!

Need a location or point of interest? One card, take the rune and the creature icon. Tow of Coins yields "birth" and "beasts," so it's the Birthplace of the beasts or "Natale Bestiarum."

I was going to buy another specialty deck for science fiction games, but never mind. This is universal and useful, guaranteeing I'll never play the same adventure twice.

Perhaps the best universal card deck I have used out there. Instantly useable without modification or interpretation. Draw, look, interpret and play. While it may have been made for RPG games, I have used them as a further boost in oracle work. If I had a complaint it would be that the cards could be larger.

To sum up, it is not the Deck of Many things ala old D&D but the Deck of ALL Things- grab a copy!

Nice looking, but there are print errors (devil/tower) that were pointed out in the comments over a year old ago, and promises of a guide book that apparently was abandoned also.

Just received them today. After the printing process the shipping was super fast. they are crisp clean and have vivid details. I do wish it came with a guide as its a lot of information
