I love this guy's work. I've gotten every deck available and they elevate the game to a whole new level. It makes the game challenging even for veteran heroes.
The dungeon event decks make slogging to the exit exciting and potentially rewarding. With both event decks you can really theme the available events to suit the quest or campaign.

Axianquest decks are by far the best decks I've ever added to Heroquest, simple yet add soooo much more to the game. Purchased all of them!
I don't understand why anyone would be upset about how long it takes to deliver when it's POD and stated clearly how long it will take to deliver. Completely unfair to the publisher to write a negative review when that's something completely out of their control.
Anyways, buy them all, you won't regret it!

I enjoyed this card system as a way to play HeroQuest solo. It's pretty simple to adapt and inlcude other monsters from other expansions as well. Check it out!

The print is too small on some cards. he should have used bigger cards. your font is 1millimeter high on some cards. if you play with 2 characters and get the gargoyle as a wandering monster it is very hard to beat. This needs to be thought over. You can do better. you are good publisher. the game is worth buying but if you dont see well, then this isnt the item for you.

Hello Joel.
The text on the cards is not smaller than the text found on popular card games such as Pokemon.
Nevertheless, I'll be happy to refund you. Please contact me at giuseppe.rotondo.1978 [at] gmail.com |

Great design. Should be available in standard card size. Can't wait for expansions to come out to use the newer HQ expansions and more questcards

Strong one-shot. Well formatted, a good number of paths, factions, and outcomes that are considered and well-thought out all for the benefit of the GM running the game. Ran a clean one-shot and my players enjoyed this.

Solid adventure, great information design. I played using Cairn, you could squeeze it into a single session, but would probably take most groups two sessions to complete.

Axian Library is an awesome anthology of five zines for Old School Essentials [OSE], or more broadly for the original Basic / Expert Edition of D&D and really ANY old-school fantasy / OSR games. Chock full of killer tables on a wide variety of subjects - magic, mystery, characters, clerics, dragons and much more, this is an excellent resource for any DM. The form factor is nice too (I got the hardcover version with PDF), as is the art scattered throughout. Layout is what you'd expect from an OSE-compatible product. Highly Recommended!

A great collection of extensions for OSE with modifications of the arcane and divine magic systems, as well as options for missing players, and dragon customizations. Awesome supplement!

Just finished playing first three quests with 2 players. Gameplay is just plain great. My Dwarf was slain in 3rd quest by an evil sorcerer while the my friend's Elf was able to complete the main objective and barely escape with 1BP.
-The play is balanced and exciting with variable dungeons, objectives and side quest. The quests set up variably for the number of heroes playing.
-Perfect with the Events, Artifacts, Heroic Skills and Furniture decks.
-This is a far superior way to play compared to using app for DM-less games.
-Absolutly love the campaign flavor and Tier system.
-Great inspiration tool for building custom quests.
Best of all this system holds the spirit of HQ. The deck melds with the game seamlessly and puts up few walls for making it as custom as you like.
I am excited to see if more cards are published later and what other compatable deck mechanics this creator comes up with next!

The cutting edge of the OSR design. I really enjoyed it!

I used this adventure as an introduction to OSR play for both me as a GM, and my players. It went wonderfully. The module is easy to read and use right at the table, the layout is fantastic, and the content itself hits all the notes of "vanilla" fantasy perfectly while still having some fun twists and turns.

I very recently purchased an original copy of Heroquest and fell in love with the minis and simplistic nature of the game. I mostly play solo, and while the app was functional, I just felt I wasn't really looked at the game board and all of the minis I painted up. The infinite dungeon series will be how I play solo from now on! Keeps things simple, exciting, and balanced! Love the campaign structure and the way traps are handled too. Well worth it for fans of heros and quests. Can't wait to grab more of the AxianQuest line in the future!

Great adventure!
Run as a new GM for a bunch of new Players to OSR and it was very fun. Started right at the Abbey's entrance. It was a great way to introduce us to OSR, make mistakes and learn from them.
Very nice thematic monsters and NPCs, the 2 more memorable were:
Ice viper: Added tension after foreshadowed it's danger;
Big Bad of the adventure: Players enjoyed interacting with this NPC, ton of thematic to inspire GM's dialogue.
One advice for others new GMs: the majority of the enemies were mindless undead (pure dice-lucky in random encounter) and I didn't knew how to role play them well. So, I'd search some advices about that before running it.
Overall, distinct and memorable rooms, chance to improvise and add your own twists and modify what you don't like.
Definitly recomend this adventure, specially costing $1, it's worth it!
