Lissenced Character Artwork vol 1
by A customer [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 09/28/2017 22:46:43

Interesting selection, but 96 dpi is not high res artwork. Changing it to 300 dpi, the few images I looked at were a little under 2" tall.

9252 Calendar daily year 720
by Sylvia R. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 02/09/2015 05:28:33

The calendar shows important feast days, moon phases etc. It can be printed off and would make a handy tool to create your own time line, or schedule upcoming events specific to one's own game. Good value.

NPC Pics - pack four
by Michael C. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 01/27/2015 01:07:35

This is computer generated 3D art, and looks like it's straight out of the software. The image on the cover is one of the better examples of what's in the package. Some are worse, with weird lighting, unconvincing hair, and some serious uncanny valley territory.

NPC Pics - pack four
by Michael S. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 01/26/2015 08:43:12

This set consists of color, non-background pictures of human females. The quality of the art is quite good. Without a background these images can easily be merged into another picture or have custom backgrounds created. The main use of this set I can see would be for having pictures associated with your NPCs.

There are three pics of a teen-servant (body, waist, head pics), four head pics of individual servant women, three pics of a female celtic warrior (body, waist, head), a head pic of a different female celtic warrior, two pics of a serving wench (body, head), three pics of a lady (waist, two different head pics of same female), one pic of a band of adventurers in the forest (only pic with a background).

Quality: Good Satisfaction: Satisfied

Coat Of Arms - over 450 designs
by Michael S. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 01/16/2015 09:02:22

This product consists of 450+ individual .gif files. An index listing each file with thumbnail as well as image name is included. This product is downloaded as a single folder containing all the files and index.

This set is perfect for when you need sigils for fantasy houses and knights. The individual images are of good size and are high quality images. The name attached to each coat of arms is underneath the image, far enough away for easy modification. This is a very handy product to have.

Very Satisfied with this purchase.

ANH016 - Gorlev Hamlet Map
by Mikael H. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 09/18/2013 01:20:57

In my opinion this is a really bad map graphically. Any one can produce a similar one using Paint in windows or similar software, in ten minutes tops. Not worth the money, any money at all!

Sorry that the map was not artistic for you, they are made to be simple, clean and concise. I agree that most people with computer skills could create them, just like any other RPG pdf or image. I have made these maps to ease the time a game master has to spend to build their own world.

ANM001 Map pack 1 - Hamlets 1 to 15
by Megan R. [Featured Reviewer] Date Added: 09/14/2013 09:42:40

Just plain useful - a whole bunch of nice clear 'hamlet' maps which are completely generic and can be popped in wherever you have a need for them.

Individual settlements are presented in a rather blocky and diagrammatic style with every building numbered - all you need to work out is who lives there or what they are used for and write a list (or on the image, as preferred). Surroundings are left quite vague, so you can place them in your own campaign world as required.

Those who are starting a world from scratch might like to look at Troll Hammer Games's Anjora Kingdom Map as a basis instead.

These are functional rather than pretty, but they get the idea across and are very easy to work with.

ANH004 Mindor Hamlet
by Megan R. [Featured Reviewer] Date Added: 09/11/2013 08:50:28

World creation is enjoyable but time consuming - especially if drawing is not your strong point. This product may help... it is a large plan of a smallish village with individual buildings numbered to facilitate your adding occupants/usage and any other notes that you need.

The drawing is blocky and diagrammatic, rather than photorealistic or in the style of a mediaeval mapmaker; but if what you need is a clear plan of a settlement this should suit you well.

The settlement is laid out along several roads, most are internal to the village, but one leads out through forest (or at least a green area), whilst there is a large mountain with evidence of mine workinge beyond the buildings. No watercourse is shown, so apparently the residents depend on wells dug down to the watertable.

It is a good 'working tool' but lacks the visual appeal of other map products available.

10,000+ names
by Megan R. [Featured Reviewer] Date Added: 09/11/2013 08:28:03

OK... first up you need MS Excel or a package that can read Excel spreadsheet files... because that's what it is - a lot of names typed into a spreadsheet page, in alphabetical order covering four columns.

And that's all it is.

If you can manipulate spreadsheets, you could code up some kind of randomiser; otherwise you have to just read down the page until you see a name you like. They all seem to be given names (some could do service as family names).

Using a spreadsheet to generate names for NPCs, populate townships and so on could be a neat idea... but you do need to do more than just type in a list of names.

10,000+ names
by Benjamin M. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 09/02/2012 13:52:12

The list of names is just a basic excel spread sheat in lay out. It has 4 coliums three of which are 3000 cells long and onne that has only a 1000 cells. If you know excell you can use this to generate lists of names for a campian. At the price it is not too bad, but could use a few pre set formulas to generate randome names at least from its list.
