These badger decks have been very useful in playing the 5 hand partnership spades game I have developed. And they have been very helpful with the 6 hand partnership spades game. The decks have been very well received. Thus the 4 stars.

I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because once you get the additional cards added to the deck it becomes difficult to shuffle. This is especially difficult for me with arthritus beginning to take a toll on my hands.

This may not be possible with the volume sold but what this set needs is a version printed on the quality of stock normally seen with KEM and Copag decks which are much more durable and infinitely easier to shuffle, especially when you get 80 to 100 cards in deck to shuffle. If that is ever delivered I would give this 6 stars out of 5.

This deck of cards is incredibly beautiful. The art style has a pleasing consistency and simplicity, while eash suit is also given its own theme. That combined with the fact that this contains more "face cards" than are standardly part of a deck of playing cards renders this a very attractive artifact.

My only complaint is that the suits are not even roughly broken up by color as is standard, which makes a difference to one or two games. Then again, one can easily get expansion cards so that one has two blue-sh suits and two red-ish ones or two green-ish ones.
