Received my printed copy. Beautifully done, excellent condition. Nice thick pages, lovely colors. The binding is reasonable. I am slightly worried about how it will hold up, but the main core rulebook held up well so I'm sure this is going to hold up well for me too.

Product is about 2/3 or so content on the Latter Earth and about 1/3 or so toolbox for homebrew fantasy. A lot of the Latter Earth stuff is super easy to tailor to your own stuff too.

Gorgeous art. Evocative writing.

Normally I regret spending a lot of money on printed supplements.

I don't regret a single penny spent on this. This was worth it. I'm not financially well off but...this is something that made me feel I'm getting my money's worth and will get years of entertainment with my gaming group from it!

Bought a hard copy of the book! I bought the hardcover Premium color one. Product arrived in good condition, and it arrived several weeks earlier than Drivethrurpg said it would, which was great.

It's a small book, but it packs a lot of fun information in it. Red Giant does well at building a light flexible system and with providing a lot of thematic inspriation without trying to drown a reader in lore. It can be run as-is, but it also is useful as a book where you can file the system off and use some of it as inspiration for your own campaigns. The content is dark, as advertised, and I like that stuff, so....awesome! Because the system is so simple/straightforward, though, some of my more mature friends could be persuaded to play/learn this.

There's not a lot of artwork in the book but what little it has is quite nice; that is really my only quibble with it. Not enough of an issue to affect my enjoyment though.

I enjoyed the formatting of the book; I am visually impaired and the book is very easy on my eyes and easy to read.

I purchased it on sale and got this book + shipping for just under $50.00, and ultimately I feel it was worth it!

Mage The Ascension Tarot

(Deleted my original review after reading another that helped partially resolve a major issue I'd had on my order! Thank you to Van W.!)

Card quality: Very good. Sturdy. Art quality: Exceedingly good. Exceeds expectations. Evokes the Rider-Waite Tarot aesthetic while still putting a Mage spin on things. Tuck box: Good. A teeny bit flimsy, but it's still quite lovely.

The product page says it comes with instructions though, which I thought meant I'd get an actual physical instructional book to help me with my readings and storytelling for chronicles. It didn't, though, but I did find the instructions in the Storyteller's Vault as a pdf. Was saddened at lack of a physical copy though; that was something that I'd factored into whether or not I wanted to purchase. So just be aware that while the product page says it comes with a book, it actually doesn't; you'll have to find the pdf in the Vault. I knocked off a star for that, as I found it to be mildly misleading advertising on the product page.

A wonderful system and a fabulous book. I particularly love how the GM gets a playbook, and I like how this system can easily go from a wacky/zany adventure to a heartrending and serious one. There's a lot of variety here. 5/5 stars.

Question, though: I would like to GM this game on a forum, but I am the only one who owns the core rulebook. In the rulebook, there is a link to a mediafire to download the playbooks. Is it acceptable for me to share this with a potential gaming group? (Just the playbooks, nothing else)

Réponse de l’éditeur :
Yes, you may share the playbooks freely with people you want to play the game with. You can even share the entire book PDF with them if you\'d like! Just don\'t upload everything for the general internet to download freely and you\'re golden. Thanks for the review!
