This system made me fall in love with GMing all over again. The rules are straight forward, and don't get into too much convuluted details. I feel like I'm playing a role playing game rather than running a table top miniature combat game that occasionally has some role playing elements. I also love that you just roll one dice. No pre checks, post checks, damage checks, everything is inclusive with the one dice roll.
Also it doesn't feel like you're filling out your tax return while creating a character. The creation is simple. I would say that it is some what similar to the old OD&D rules, but OneDice Fantasy rule set makes more sense, and isn't as dated as the old White Book.
So if you want to play a quick game where there is room for character advancement that won't take hours to create characters and set up, this is your best option. I cannot stress how actions moved quickly while running an adventure. Where 5th Edition Dungeon and Dragons seems like Skyrim running on a 286 PC, this is a fast paced game where everyone at the table gets the chance to particpate in the adventure.
