The Road to Ruin Bought this game as a single-player. Set up and rules are straightforward so you can get playing pretty quickly. Love how the tension increases as the game goes on. Decisions feel like they have weight behind them and I spent more and more time thinking through what could go wrong if I went here or there. Can't wait to play co-op with friends and see if we can all survive!

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Complete Errata Set (RoR, 2nd printing)
by Mike J.
Publisher: Paizo
Date Added: 10/08/2017 21:44:47
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Complete Errata Set (RoR, 2nd printing) Product was very promptly shipped and arrived within three days. As noted in other reviews, the colors of the replacement cards are very close to the original. (They seem just a tad more saturated, but it is well within the margin of acceptability, and you will not notice the difference when playing.) The surrounding black border is slightly uneven. The cards are the same size and weight of the cards that came with the game. I bought the second edition, so there were very few updates I needed to make to rulebook due to errata from the FAQ. I highly recommend purchasing the complete errata card set and am having a fantastic time playing this game, which would have been dimiished if I had to manually correct the cards....

The GameMaster's Apprentice: Horror Deck Although this is the GMA deck that I use the least (only because horror is a genre that i don't play often), it works for inspiration and GM Emulation jsut as good as the other decks that I own. Getting ready to run a Call of Cthulhu game soon, and can't wait to use them. Great product.

The GameMaster's Apprentice: Sci Fi Along with the base set and the horror set, I use these cards in every game I play. If you are curious at all about trying these cards, do it. You will be surprised at how useful they are.

Hellfrost Action Deck
by Jerry W.
Publisher: Triple Ace Games

Hellfrost Action Deck Good artwork on the cards, the face cards are the best. All the cards (except deuces) have a rune block, which is similar to anadventure deck. There are no rules for it, but you can make up house rules, or ignore it entirely. Like many card decks when new, this one is stiff. You will need to shuffle and flex them a bit to loosen the deck a bit.

Alien Worlds Builder

Alien Worlds Builder Aien Worlds Builder has some real potential, and I can see exactly where the author was going with it what lets it down are the typos. I can forgive a typo here and there, but in this case we're talking about many per page. A couple of proofreads would have fixed it. Also the layout on the last page is skewed with the banner running into the header making it impossible to read. This product feels like it was just knocked togeter as fast as possible to make money. The information contained inside is good, but the lack of care in the execution really let's it down. I'm glad I'm glad I got it for half price, and even that was too much with such poor production values ....

The Badger Deck, Basic Set
by John G.

The Badger Deck, Basic Set This deck of cards is incredibly beautiful. The art style has a pleasing consistency and simplicity, while eash suit is also given its own theme. That combined with the fact that this contains more "face cards" than are standardly part of a deck of playing cards renders this a very attractive artifact. My only complaint is that the suits are not even roughly broken up by color as is standard, which makes a difference to one or two games. Then again, one can easily get expansion cards so that one has two blue-sh suits and two red-ish ones or two green-ish ones....

Interstellar Patrol Adventure Cards The font on these cards is tiny... I mean get out your magnifying glass tiny. For me, there's no way I can make use of these; I'd have a headache by the time I got through 10 of them. What a shame.

Baby Dragon Bedtime (Print and Play Version) Charming, fun, fast, and delightful. Setup and play is wonderfully quick, easy to teach, and kids love it. It's played in real-time, madly scrabbling for facedown cards in the centre, trying to best the other baby dragons in getting to the good Hoard cards, or surprising them with Roars so you can take their Gold. The artwork is endearing, the play madcap, and the purchase solid.

Blood, Sweat and Cheers This game is both fun and addictive. The basics are easy to learn, allowing you to build strategy for each gladiator type. The combination of card play skill versus dice roll and card draw luck insure no two matches will turn out the same. I introduced this game to a “non-gamer” friend and he is now hooked. Simple game mechanics are quick to learn and open enough to allow you to add your own narrative flourish to the game. Would love for the author to add a supplemental pack with female and dwarf gladiators and alternate special action cards. Very good game, highly recommend....

Battlestations Advanced Rulebook large

Date Added: 07/14/2017 15:33:50
Battlestations Advanced Rulebook large Battlestation Advanced Rulebook is the full rulebook for Battlestations Second edition, expanding upon the rules and options found in the Battlestations board game. Battlestations is the game of heroic spaceship combat, designed for 1 - many players. You play characters of varying races and abilities, running around on your starship, using those battlestations to accomplish tasks to move your ship around on a space map and accomplish your mission. It can be played cooperatively, but the "normal" version has one person being the GM/overlord/mastermind/etc and the others playing crew. The basic rules can pretty much be boiled down to (2d6+appropriate skill) vs target number. Anyone can roll against any skill, but Professionals get rerolls for rolls using their appropriate skill (Marines use Combat, Engineers use Engineering, Pilots use Piloting, and Scientists use Science). Your engineers run around gettting "more power out of the engines", and repairing damaged modules. Marines fi...

Goblin's Breakfast Great for the whole family! My preteen boys absolutely love it and even my 4 year old was capable of playing. It's a fun, fastpace game which I plan to introduce to all my gameloving friends. (My kids now steal eachother's food at mealtimes though!)
